Hawaii Senator Mazie Hirono says she is pleased with the movement toward immigration reform. Hirono says it was legislation she supported when she was in the House. Under the comprehensive immigration reform act, thousands of immigrants would be able to live and work legally in hawaii. Hirono says the discussion should focus less on securing our borders.
