Senator Hirono says Hawaii is a great example of how an immigration system can work. "I think this is a very good thing for our country to recognize and not demonize all these people who want to come to our country so that they can have a chance at a better life," says Senator Hirono. Senators plan to file the immigration bill in March and hope to pass it by the summer.
