Veterans of Foreign Wars Hawaii Attends Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee Hearing

The Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, of which Senator Hirono is a member, heard a presentation from the Veterans of Foreign Wars on Wednesday. During the hearing, Senator Hirono gave a shout out to VFW members from Hawaii who attended the hearing, including her Mission Continues Fellow Carlos Santana. Senator Hirono and the VFW members discussed alleviating veterans’ homelessness and the VA’s Choice Card program.
