Students from Hawaii Island’s Christian Liberty Academy Visit Senator Hirono on Capitol Hill

11^th and 12^th graders from Christian Liberty Academy (CLA) in Keaau participated in a Q&A session with Senator Hirono as part of the school’s history-rich visit to Washington, DC. Continuing on to higher education and how to pay for college were among the topics discussed with the upperclassmen. In addition to visiting with the Senator, CLA students also toured the White House and the Library of Congress.
