Senator Hirono Connects with Military Families at Leilehua High School

Earlier this week, Senator Hirono and Bruni Bradley, wife of Commander of the Pacific Fleet Admiral Harry Harris, toured Leilehua High School to learn about resources available to military-connected families.

Thirty percent of Leilehua students have a family member in the military. The Senator and Mrs. Bradley toured Leilehua’s transition center, which is equipped to support new students, and enjoyed lunch prepared by students in the school’s culinary program.
