Senator Hirono Congratulates Makaala Kaaumoana

Senator Hirono met with Makaala Kaaumoana, executive director of the Hanalei Watershed Hui, who was visiting Washington, D.C. to receive the National Wetland Community Leadership Award. Makaala has been instrumental in developing plans to protect the Hanalei River valley.
