Senator Hirono & Staff Raise Awareness of Heart Health

On Friday, Senator Hirono and her staff in Washington and Hawaii observed National Wear Red Day to raise awareness of women’s heart health. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in Hawaii and across the nation, but in women.  Wear Red Day is just one facet of the American Heart Association’s American Heart Month.
