Kauai Businesses Get Ready for “Hawaii on the Hill”

Senator Hirono kicked off her Thursday on the beautiful Garden Isle, where she was joined by Chamber of Commerce Hawaii President and CEO Sherry Menor-McNamara for a whirlwind tour of four Kauai businesses set to participate in the upcoming “Hawaii on the Hill” in Washington, D.C.  "Hawaii on the Hill" showcases island products and local companies emphasizing Hawaii as a world-class place to do business, not just a visitor destination. With the success of last year’s “Hawaii on the Hill,” some 30 business from across the Aloha State have already signed up to take part in this summer’s event, which has prompted the Senator's staff to secure an even larger venue than the one used a year ago.
